As I camped in the Walmart parking lot in Charlottesville last night, I watch Episode 1 of Ken Burns’ documentary about Hemingway. He (Hemingway) was influenced by the style guide at the Kansas City Star where he worked early in his career.
What a larger than life character!
Do you know who else worked for the Kansas City Star? Walt Disney! One of his first jobs, they fired him because they said he could not draw.....
