Keeping with the theme of heartache, my friend Anna Koester sent me the following text:
She wins.
As I replied to Anna, this song is a direct hit. (I thought about including the Gap Band’s “You Dropped A Bomb On Me” but decided it would distract from the poignancy of the message.)
One day, hopefully soon, when I write about the answers I have found I will site this song and how it is ok to feel this way. It’s taken me a long, long time to realize that, and even now I beat myself up a good deal of the time.
