When he promised to reduce gasoline prices and electricity prices by 50 percent, either he was naive or lying. Neither answer is a good one.
Here is a link to a letter from the owner of a fracking company to the Nominee to head up DOE. My reading of it is that he wants the government to support both an increase supply of oil anc natural gas and increased wholesale oil and natural gas prices. Hmm. Doesn’t sound like a path to lower my gasoline prices!
BTW, I’m still confused by nominating a natural gas person to head up the Energy Department. We all know tge name “DOE” is a misnomer as most of its budget is spent on our national labs and nuclear weapons program.

I can understand why natural gas drillers want to export more LNG — it will keep the price of natural gas high. But how does that help me?
