Walmart
Cheboygan, Michigan

Several campers and 5th wheels in the Walmart lot last night. It is a huge Walmart — but according to Google the biggest one is in Albany, New York. Go figure.
I drove through downtown Cheboygan and had deja vu. But I think I must have been here for July 4th before. The Main Street is actually quite pretty while rest of the town reminds me of the sprawl you see in southern towns of 5,000 - 10,000 people.
Getting up my courage to drive over the Mackinac Bridge to the UP. I’ve done it before — although it took me several hours to build up the courage. Sometime me bothers me.
Cheboygan (/ʃəˈbɔɪɡən/ shə-BOY-gən[4]) is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the county seat and largest settlement of Cheboygan County.[5] At the 2020 census, Cheboygan had a population 4,770.
Cheboygan is situated on Lake Huron at the mouth of the Cheboygan River. It is the fourth-largest American city on Lake Huron after Bay City, Port Huron, and Alpena. Cheboygan is part of Northern Michigan, and is the northernmost city in Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Directly north of Cheboygan is Bois Blanc Island (part of Mackinac County), which can be accessed via ferry from Cheboygan.
Update around 9 AM:
I found this great spot on Lake Huron on my way from Cheboygan to the Mackinac Bridge.
