Love’s Truck Stop

Back in the States after my excursion to Paris, Ontario. Paris is known as the prettiest little town in Ontario. I’m not sure how pretty it is but it was quaint — at least in its small downtown area. There is a small river that runs behind the downtown which in my mind is a positive.
Even though Canada is very much like the US, I felt as though I was in a foreign country. Hard to explain. I was just not able to completely relax when I was out. Maybe it’s just me. But that’s all I got!
Gas was generally 1.60 CAD/litre in Canada. According to my CAD/litre to USD/gallon converter that is equal to $4.42/gallon. Fun to see the Esso logo.
Before I left Paris, I hit some range balls at the Wayne Gretzky Golf Course. Nice grass. Beautiful range. Now I’ve played golf in the US, Bermuda, Scotland and Oh Canada.
Was not lost on me that London, Ontario (on the Thames River) is an hour from Paris. London is a city of 500,000 people so I did not explore around it. I should probably clarify. I enjoy walking around cities. But I find on this trip it is hard to find the right areas to walk around. So I’ve tended to bypass larger cities.

This may be one of the quietest Love’s I have been to. Most northern Live’s in Michigan located just off I75 in Saginaw.
Is there anything worse than intestinal distress when you’re on the road? Dang. Funny how my mind both races and goes blank when my gut hurts. Is it I S? Is it diverticulosis? Something I ate? Something I didn’t eat? Oh, I must be dehydrated. Where’s my fiber? Oh, yeah, these ginger chews might help. Please make these cramps stop!
