Rush, New York
Ten AM
Wandering my way toward Niagara Falls. Surprised by how picturesque this area of New York is. The grass and trees are so green and lush. The houses, most near the highway, are pretty and well kept — am I in Vermont? The word that comes to mind is pride — in how the citizens and towns maintain the area. I was expecting an area that was weathered from long, tough winters.
Rush is a town in Monroe County, New York, United States. The population was 3,478 at the 2010 census. The Town of Rush is a suburb of Rochester located in the southern part of the county. The town was established in 1818 from the town of Avon in what was then Genesee County. It was either named after the rushes growing along the creek, or after Dr. Benjamin Rush, a Founding Father of the United States.
Stopped and hit a small bucket of range balls at Southern Meadows 9 hole course. Still fading the ball — still practicing extra ding my arms after contact to get the correct wrist roll.
